The company was named in honor of Mr. Veitus Zepf, born in 1897 in Germany, who was the venerated great-grandfather of co-founder Manuel Wörner. Together with Armin Scham, the two co-founders wanted to ensure that the standards of the company reflect timeless principles. The name VEITH represents the traditional values of discipline, organization, loyalty, and honesty- values that carry through to all parts of the company from manufacturing, customer service, and overall quality of the products.
